Confirmation of design is established with a combination of your (the bride's) ideas and my recommendations. A price will be quoted, a deposit required and measurements taken. The example here is of a red wedding dress with a gold lace Bolero jacket.

For the first fitting a Calico Toile will be fitted. A toile is a fabric pattern for you to be fitted to, drawn on and pinned to get a perfect fit. The skirt will be made from the lining so the silhouette can be established before the top fabric is cut.

The next fitting will see your wedding dress looking more as you imagined. Bodice and skirt from the top fabric, with the opportunity to discuss decoration. For this fitting you'll need your wedding shoes.
